Astraeus is building AI-native infrastructure for modern wealth management firms, replacing fragmented, pre-AI architectures with a single operating foundation that embeds intelligence at every decision surface. When they came to us, the vision was sharp and the strategic ambition was clear. What didn't exist yet was the visual system capable of expressing it. We built it from the ground up.
CHALLENGE
Building a visual system that reflects intelligence as infrastructure
Astraeus came in with a clear vision and a sharp product, but no visual identity, no material language, and no creative infrastructure to express any of it. The brief was unusually honest about that gap: the strategic ambition existed, the system to deliver it did not. In a category where 22,000+ registered investment advisors share the same visual playbook, the question was not what to build. It was whether what we built could carry the weight of what Astraeus is actually doing: challenging an 85-year-old regulatory framework, not decorating it.

APPROACH
We built strategy and design as one system.
The Astraeus visual world follows a three-act narrative: Constraint, Activation, Emergence. Material language evolves with that structure, from concrete to marble, precision to abundance, while gold acts as a continuous thread across every surface, with density and function shifting by act. Data visualisation was directed as architectural relief, not interface decoration.
This was not a style. It was a governing system.
AI PRODUCTION SYSTEM
Every visual asset was created from scratch through a structured production workflow—no stock, no templates. From strategic framework and narrative definition to prompt design, generation, and final production, each output was controlled and systemised
Production stack: Claude Max + Midjourney + Affinity Designer + DaVinci Resolve AI.

VISUAL SYSTEM
The system was designed to scale across every surface without dilution—from web to editorial, motion to social.
Colours
A neutral palette of layered greys and high-contrast black and white establishes the structural foundation. Muted gold runs as the system's accent, not for luxury associations but as a narrative signal: warmth and weight applied with intention.
Typography
Space Grotesk carries the intellectual authority of the headings, sharp and structured without being cold. Public Sans handles body text with the clarity that complex subject matter demands. Two typefaces, one register.

Brand Guidebook
The Brand Guidebook documents the system in full: visual rules, material logic, and production workflows. Every decision recorded, every rule defined, every surface covered.

Blog
The Astraeus Insights blog introduces four distinct visual identities per category, each unified under one coherent system. Editorial layouts balance text hierarchy with contextual AI imagery.
Motion & Video
Motion and video extend the narrative across every scroll. Fluid transitions mirror the material evolution from constraint to emergence, with the hero video functioning as the narrative overture to site experience.
Social Media System
Social media templates extend the system across platforms, maintaining visual coherence at mobile scale without losing anything in compression.
WEBFLOW BUILD
The Webflow build translated design complexity into a scalable, high-performance system. Custom interactions, layered video, and responsive behaviour were built from the ground up, supported by a CMS structure that enables Astraeus to manage content independently post-launch. QA was integrated throughout development, ensuring performance, consistency, and reliability from day one.

I’ve worked with the Cinnamon team for years and I had high expectations right from the start, yet I was still blown away. This is exactly what we envisioned, and the work was absolutely beautiful. If we were to do it all again, I wouldn’t work with anyone else.

THE OUTCOME
Astraeus now has what they started without: a visual system as rigorous as the platform it represents. The site positions them clearly above a category that settled for looking the same, built on a Webflow foundation that scales with the product, and driven by AI-generated content that was designed, not just generated.
It's a digital presence built for the boardrooms and investment committees they're pitching to. One that makes the case before a single word is read.
